About PMRCL (Patna Metro Rail Corporation Ltd)
PMRCL was incorporated in 2019 as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the planning, design, construction, and operation of the Patna Metro Rail Project. It is a 50:50 joint venture between the Government of Bihar and the Government of India (Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs).
The project cost is approximately ₹13,411 crore for Phase-1, covering 2 corridors (30.9 km) with 24 stations. DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) provides technical consultancy for the project.
